Welcome to the latest issue of Langua: Journal of Linguistics, Literature, and Language Education. This edition features a rich array of research spanning various dimensions of language and literature. It opens with an exploration of code mixing and code switching in the YouTube video "Glitch in The Matrix" by Nessie Judge and Cinta Laura, offering insights into contemporary digital communication. The issue continues with a critical analysis of conflict in William Dean Howells' short story "Christmas Every Day," revealing the narrative mechanisms that drive the plot. We also present two studies on reading instruction: one examining students' perceptions of teachers' reading strategies, and another detailing effective strategies for teaching narrative texts to tenth graders. Additionally, the issue includes innovative research on using Instagram to improve speaking skills among senior high school students and the application of translation activities to develop English vocabulary through narrative texts. This diverse collection highlights cutting-edge research and practical approaches in the fields of linguistics, literature, and language education.
